The Claim Associate will be working on a dedicated account and will provide general clerical duties for the claim personnel and other team members as assigned. Accountable for the quality of claim service as perceived by CCMSI clients and within Corporate Claim Standards.



  • Responsible for setting up designated claim files and completing all set up instructions, as requested.
  • Summarize correspondence and medical records in the claim log notes as well as file same in the appropriate claim.
  • Will make referrals to outside vendors on designated cases under direct supervision.
  • Responsible for photocopying claim documents, as needed.
  • Responsible for returning provider calls, as directed.
  • Will follow up on bills.
  • Responsible for releasing adjuster approved payments.
  • Backup for Receptionist and mail processing
  • Provide support to claim staff as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Associate’s degree or two year’s related business experience.

Knowledge of medical terminology required.


Computer Skills    

Proficient using Microsoft Office products such as, Word, Excel, and Outlook


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
