    The Part Time Administrative Support position provides overall administrative support to the Utilization Review Department and Administrative Support Team's of CCMSI.

    Responsibilities

    The position is responsible for the following job duties:

     

    • Data entry of medical terminology with anatomy knowledge with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Medical coding: ICD9/ICD10, CPT codes. Stay current with medical terminology and codinng.
    • Sort daily mail and distribute to appropriate adjusters and nursing staff.
    • To have knowledge on how to use office equipment, mail machine, faxes, copier, printers and phone consoles to back up receptionist.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Ability to clearly communicate verbally and /or in writing both internally and externally. Individual must be a self-starter with strong organizational abilities. Ability to multi-task and prioritize required. Ability to operate general office equipment and perform clerical duties. Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision a must. Discretion and confidentiality required. Ability to work as a team member in a rapidly changing environment.

     

    Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.

     

     

    Education and/or Experience                                                                    

     

    High School graduate or equivalent.

     

    Computer Skills                                                               

     

    Proficient with Microsoft Office programs

     

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

     

    Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate preferred.
