    The Data Change Analyst is responsible for maintaining and deploying changes to relational data in an effort to maintain the accuracy and integrity of all corporate data.

    Responsibilities

    • Under direct supervision, identify data anomalies and deploy remedies to maintain data integrity.
    • Present findings and recommendations. May formally present recommendations, as appropriate.
    • Implement data corrections; this may be programs designed by other teams that will require deployment against corporate data.
    • Program systems -- thoroughly test data corrections at program and system level.
    • Implement fixes according to team schedules, properly considering system back-up.
    • Document procedures in compliance with departmental standards.
    • Serves as back up for operations of relational database systems.
    • Maintain data records according to departmental and company standards. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills. Individual must have the ability to coordinate and prioritize. Must be able to participate in a team environment in a rapid changing environment. Flexibility, initiative and ability to work with minimal direct supervision required. Must be able to operate office equipment. Individual must be detail oriented and a self-starter with strong organizational abilities. Discretion and confidentiality a must.

     

    Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.

     

    Responsive to internal and external client needs.

     

    Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally.

     

    Occasional evening and weekends required.

     

    Education and/or Experience  

    Associate Degree in Business Data Processing or Information Systems required.

    Bachelor degree preferred.

    Coursework in programming and systems analysis.  

    Certifications or Previous Experience may be used in lieu of degree.                                                    

     

    Computer Skills    

    Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. Strong understanding of relational databases, preferably SQL Server.  Previous experience writing and deploying scripts in T-SQL is a requirement.  Prior use of a ticket-based Help Desk system is also a requirement.  Excellent skills with MS Office, especially Excel, is expected.
