    The Revenue Accountant is responsible for recording the monthly revenue and broker expenses for CCMSI. Duties include the following: monthly invoicing, the calculation and recording of the earned revenue, reconciliation of unearned revenue account, monitoring of accounts receivable, the revenue cash flow forecast, the calculation of broker expenses and reconciliation of all broker-related accounts, the maintenance of contract files and assistance in the profitability reporting for clients.


    • Record the monthly revenue for CCMSI by clients assigned.
    • Generation of invoices for revenue and other income-related accounts.
    • Reconciliation of the unearned revenue account.
    • Comparison of actual results to the annual operating plan or to the monthly forecasted revenue.
    • Communicate on an as-needed basis with Regional Vice Presidents, Account Managers, State Directors, Branch Managers, and Association Accountants to ensure that the most current and accurate information is used.
    • Provide information for the revenue portion of the annual operating plan.
    • Maintenance of contract files to ensure that revenue is recorded accurately and timely, based on signed contracts. 
    • Prepare schedules for annual corporate audit.
    • Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.
    • Responsive to internal and external client needs. 
    • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally. 
    • Ability to get along with others. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience

    Associate degree required.

    Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred with 1-3 years of work related experience.


    Strong understanding of accounting theory and practice, financial analysis theory and practice, company financial policies and procedures, and automated accounting systems.                                                                 


    Computer Skills                                                              

    Proficient using Microsoft Office products to include: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
