    The EDI Data Support Clerk is responsible for providing the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) team with prompt and accurate data entry support.


    The EDI Unit is a high pace, multi task unit; this position requires that employee after trained work with minimum direction on job task, prioritizing and assistance from other team members. Knowledge of task and skills are crucial to maintain this level within the department.     Job Responsibilities of the EDI Data Support Clerk include:

    • Following direction from EDI Compliance Specialist and State Compliance Supervisor.
    • Entry of data for state reporting purposes into various EDI programs to allow for proper EDI FROI (First Report of Injuries) and SROI (supplemental Reports of Injuries) submissions.
    • Ability to run SQL Queries a plus, but not required for the position.
    • Communicate with internal CCMSI Personnel to obtain information needed to enter into various EDI programs for proper submission of FROI/SROI submissions
    • Communicate with Various staff members within EDI team and Information Systems with understanding of information and project requirements
    • Ability to analyze data issues and communicate solution to fix items in Icebar.
    • Any other projects or requirements demanded by EDI Compliance Specialist, State Compliance Supervisor or EDI team members

    Education and/or Experience                                                                      

    High school graduate required; some college preferred


    Computer Skills

    Proficient using Microsoft Office products such as:  Excel, Word, and Outlook, Minimum 50 accurate wpm.
