The Loss Control Representative will work with insured customers at their location to evaluate the Workers' Compensation accidents, identify trends and together they will develop a plan to reduce the exposures. This may include installing physical guards, modifying or developing safety rules, conducting safety meetings, making observations of safe/unsafe behavior, developing "best practices", conducting supervisor training, keeping abreast of WC and OSHA regulations, providing written safety programs, supplying safety videos, conducting seat belt surveys, and reporting the results back to underwriting. Enforcement and application of these controls remain the responsibility of the insured customer. This is a field position having minimal supervision but regular evaluation of effectiveness. Approximate field time for this position is 60% with some overnight travel.

Education and/or Experience
A college degree in safety curriculum with 3 or more years of experience required. Job title change is contingent upon the approval of the direct reporting manager and the Corporate Loss Control Manager.
Proficient using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Attainment of professional designations will be encouraged.
