Job Title: Mail Services Clerk (Part-Time)

Location: In-office position at CCMSI Scottsdale, AZ
Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18-20 per hour

 

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate of the base pay range for this role, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include bonuses, benefits, or other forms of pay. Position Summary:

The Mail Services Clerk is responsible for processing all incoming, inter-office, and outgoing mail. This role ensures timely and accurate handling of mail and packages while maintaining detailed records and assisting with administrative support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up, sort, open, stamp, and record all incoming mail, including checks.

  • Process outgoing mail, ensuring timely folding and mailing of checks and worksheets.

  • Compare and rate shop between UPS and USPS for cost efficiency.

  • Receive and log incoming packages and prepare UPS and Air shipments.

  • Maintain a daily work log and track association postage usage.

  • Return undeliverable mail and misdelivered items within one week of receipt.

  • Maintain organization of mail slots and carts.

  • Order postage supplies and ensure the postage meter remains sufficiently funded.

  • Provide backup coverage for the switchboard as needed.

  • Verify air services billing for payment and generate daily and monthly reports for Accounting.

  • Return undeliverable mail and misdelivered items within one week of receipt.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to alphabetize, sort, and deliver mail efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Self-starter with initiative and adaptability.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and responsiveness to internal and external client needs.
