Remote | M–F 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (local time) | $65,000–$75,000 annually

Join CCMSI’s growing claims team and bring your expertise in Commercial Trucking claims to a single, dedicated client account. We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Claim Representative with experience adjusting Cargo and Auto Physical Damage (APD) claims—specifically comprehensive and collision (Comp/Coll) losses—across multiple jurisdictions in the lower 48 states.
Investigate and adjust commercial trucking cargo and physical damage claims in accordance with established procedures and CCMSI claim handling standards.
Evaluate policy coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements within your authority.
Review and approve related medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices; resolve any disputes.
Collaborate with defense attorneys and vendors; monitor subrogation and excess reporting.
Maintain clear documentation and deliver high-quality, timely communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with client service commitments and jurisdictional regulations.
Required Experience:
5–10 years of multi-line or transportation-related claims experience
Minimum of 3 years specifically adjusting cargo claims for commercial trucking
Strong understanding of Comp/Coll claims handling and transportation policies
Key Skills & Attributes:
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Attention to detail and accurate documentation
Clear verbal and written communication
Strong negotiation and customer service skills
Knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting trucking and cargo claims
Ability to manage multiple claims independently and meet deadlines
Comfort working in a remote environment
Licensing:
Adjuster’s license preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
