We’re currently seeking a Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative I to join our Jackson, MS team. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1–2 days per week in the office after an initial training period. You’ll be adjusting a variety of liability claims for multiple municipal clients, with guidance from experienced team members and supervisors.

 

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line liability claims in compliance with CCMSI and client guidelines

  • Handle claims from start to resolution, including coverage analysis, liability investigation, and negotiation

  • Review legal, medical, and miscellaneous bills to determine relatedness and negotiate disputes

  • Manage claim payments and set accurate reserves

  • Collaborate with legal counsel and other vendors as needed

  • Maintain detailed claim documentation and submit reports for excess carriers or audits

  • Monitor subrogation opportunities

  • Deliver excellent service and communication to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of liability claim experience OR related insurance experience

  • MS Adjuster License or the ability to obtain one within a designated timeframe

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, service-driven environment

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
