We’re currently seeking a Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative I to join our Jackson, MS team. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1–2 days per week in the office after an initial training period. You’ll be adjusting a variety of liability claims for multiple municipal clients, with guidance from experienced team members and supervisors.
Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line liability claims in compliance with CCMSI and client guidelines
Handle claims from start to resolution, including coverage analysis, liability investigation, and negotiation
Review legal, medical, and miscellaneous bills to determine relatedness and negotiate disputes
Manage claim payments and set accurate reserves
Collaborate with legal counsel and other vendors as needed
Maintain detailed claim documentation and submit reports for excess carriers or audits
Monitor subrogation opportunities
Deliver excellent service and communication to internal and external stakeholders
3+ years of liability claim experience OR related insurance experience
MS Adjuster License or the ability to obtain one within a designated timeframe
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Strong organization and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
