Position Title: Workers’ Compensation Claim Representative II
Location: [Insert Office Location, NV] – Hybrid
Work Arrangement: Hybrid after training (in-office Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Wednesday)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Salary Range: $60,000–$75,000 annually
License/Certification Required: Nevada Adjuster’s License
Client Type: Single dedicated client – Casino industry
Jurisdiction: Nevada-only claims

We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claim Representative II to manage lost time claims for a dedicated Nevada-based casino client. This role requires strong knowledge of Nevada workers’ compensation statutes, excellent time management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You’ll join a supportive team environment that values accuracy, compliance, and proactive resolution strategies.
Independently investigate and adjust lost time workers’ compensation claims in accordance with Nevada law, CCMSI Best Practices, and client-specific instructions
Evaluate liability and determine compensability based on facts, evidence, and jurisdictional requirements
Calculate, monitor, and adjust reserves within established authority levels
Review and process medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices; resolve disputes as needed
Coordinate communication with injured workers, employers, attorneys, and medical providers
Negotiate claim settlements and manage litigation in partnership with defense counsel
Authorize and issue payments accurately and timely
Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities
Maintain claim diary and complete all documentation in a timely and professional manner
Respond to excess/reinsurance carrier reporting needs as applicable
Collaborate with internal teams to meet service commitments and client satisfaction goals
3–5+ years of experience managing lost time Nevada workers’ compensation claims
Active Nevada Adjuster’s License
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet statutory deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Reliable, predictable attendance within scheduled service hours
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
Experience handling claims in the casino or hospitality industry
Compliance with CCMSI Best Practices
Adherence to statutory deadlines and client-specific handling instructions
Timeliness and quality of documentation, payments, and diary management
Client satisfaction and feedback
