Position Title: Medical Only Claim Representative
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (in-office 1 day per week after training)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Hourly Rate: $25.00–$30.00/hour
License/Certification Required: Arizona Adjuster’s License + ICA Adjuster Authorization
Client Type: Single dedicated municipal client

We are seeking a Medical Only Claim Representative to join our Arizona workers’ compensation team. This position focuses on the timely and accurate management of medical-only claims for a single, dedicated municipality client. You'll work a hybrid schedule, with one required in-office day per week following your initial training period.
Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, service-driven, and familiar with Arizona WC laws. Prior municipal claim experience is a plus.
Manage a caseload of Arizona medical-only workers’ compensation claims from start to closure
Determine eligibility and ensure timely delivery of appropriate benefits
Establish and maintain reserves within assigned authority limits
Review, approve, and dispute medical and miscellaneous invoices when necessary
File required state notices with the ICA and other governing bodies
Maintain detailed claim notes and documentation in compliance with best practices
Coordinate and monitor medical treatment and communications with providers
Support the broader claims team as needed and participate in client service activities
Meet documentation, diary, and communication timeliness standards
Active Arizona Workers’ Compensation Adjuster’s License
Current ICA Adjuster Authorization
2+ years of claims, administrative, or business experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Reliable and consistent attendance within business hours
Prior experience working with municipality or public sector clients
Knowledge of medical terminology
Associate degree or relevant coursework
Compliance with CCMSI Corporate Claim Best Practices and client handling instructions
Timely and accurate payment, documentation, and file maintenance
Client satisfaction and collaboration
