Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Work Arrangement: In-office for the first 3 months, then gradual transition to a hybrid schedule (M–F, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM MT)
Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000 annually
Caseload: Multiple client accounts (public and private sectors)
Jurisdiction: Colorado (with potential future exposure to Utah)

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Workers’ Compensation Claim Representative I to join our Greenwood Village, CO team. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism. You’ll handle a diverse portfolio of Colorado-based workers’ compensation claims, representing both public entities and private sector clients.

 

This is a growth-oriented role that may serve as a steppingstone to a more senior claim representative position in the future.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and adjust Colorado workers’ compensation claims in accordance with CCMSI best practices and client-specific handling instructions.

  • Analyze and process medical and legal documentation, including invoices, treatment plans, and reports.

  • Communicate with claimants, medical providers, attorneys, and clients to ensure efficient and effective claim resolution.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation in claim files and systems.

  • Provide client updates and reporting as needed, including reserve recommendations and subrogation tracking.

  • Participate in training and development opportunities to support career growth.

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 3 years of experience handling workers’ compensation claims or equivalent industry experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and initiative

  • Reliable, consistent attendance and commitment to client service

Preferred:

  • Associate degree or higher

  • Medical terminology or background knowledge is a plus

  • Experience with Utah WC claims or interest in cross-training

Licensing:

  • Colorado Workers’ Compensation Adjuster license required or ability to obtain one if jurisdictionally mandated

The posted wage reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation or bonuses.
