Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PT
Salary Range: $72,000–$85,000 annually
Client Focus: Single, Dedicated Client – California Jurisdiction Only

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Workers’ Compensation Claim Specialist to handle complex claims for a single, dedicated client within the California jurisdiction. In this fully remote or hybrid role (depending on location), you will manage claims from start to finish—investigating, evaluating, and adjusting claims while maintaining compliance with corporate and client-specific standards.

This is a high-impact position suited for professionals with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a service-first mindset. A California SIP designation is highly preferred.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and adjust workers’ compensation claims in accordance with CA law and CCMSI standards

  • Establish and monitor reserves, issue payments, and negotiate settlements within authority

  • Coordinate with defense attorneys and other vendors as appropriate

  • Review medical bills, legal reports, and disability rates for accuracy and compliance

  • Communicate regularly with the client, injured workers, and providers

  • Maintain clear documentation and meet service commitments

  • Monitor subrogation opportunities and notify excess/reinsurance carriers as needed

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of workers’ compensation claim experience

  • Experienced Adjuster Certification required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced remote environment

  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • California SIP certification

  • Bilingual in Spanish

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Industry designations (AIC, ARM, CPCU)
