📍 Location: Overland Park, KS – Hybrid (In-office at least 2 days/week after initial training)
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
💼 Salary: $70,000–$85,000

Job Summary

As a Workers’ Compensation Claim Supervisor, you’ll oversee the investigation and adjustment of workers’ compensation claims and provide strategic leadership to your team. Your role includes reviewing files for compliance, training and mentoring staff, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality claim handling aligned with our corporate standards and client expectations.

 

 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise a team of up to six workers’ compensation adjusters, including file reviews and performance coaching.

  • Assign, monitor, and oversee claim handling to ensure compliance with jurisdictional laws, client requirements, and CCMSI best practices.

  • Investigate and adjust complex or litigated claims as needed.

  • Mentor team members and support their professional development.

  • Oversee and review reserve recommendations, settlements, and payments.

  • Act as a key escalation point for client and internal claim inquiries.

  • Participate in audits and performance reviews.

  • Collaborate with other departments and leadership to improve processes and outcomes.

 

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • 10+ years of workers’ compensation claim experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong communication and coaching skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • AIC, ARM, or CPCU designation preferred.

  • Team performance and productivity metrics

  • Annual performance evaluations

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. This role may also qualify for bonuses or additional forms of pay.
