📍 In-Office | M–F, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | $20/hour (37.5 hours/week)

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Claim Clerk to support our Workers’ Compensation adjusting team in our Reno, NV office. This is a fully in-office position with no remote work opportunities. In this role, you’ll handle administrative duties that keep claims moving forward — from organizing medical records and scheduling appointments to supporting adjusters with state-required documentation and deadlines.
Maintain current diaries and meet state-imposed deadlines
Schedule medical appointments and send out required correspondence
Organize, scan, and file medical records and claims documentation
Respond to provider calls as directed
Deliver certified mail to the post office, as needed
Support claims staff with file preparation and general clerical work
Provide back-up reception coverage when needed
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Reliable, predictable attendance during business hours
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Nice to Have:
Previous clerical or customer service experience
Familiarity with Workers’ Compensation processes
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Work is evaluated based on timeliness, diary compliance, and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and assist multiple adjusters
$20/hour | 37.5 hours/week
