Multi-Line Claim Consultant
Location: Lisle, IL – Hybrid (after training)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT (37.5 hours/week)
Salary Range: $60,000–$80,000 annually

As a Multi-Line Claim Consultant, you will investigate, evaluate, and resolve a variety of liability claims—including bodily injury and property damage—across multiple accounts. This role provides an opportunity to handle complex cases, collaborate with clients, and build expertise in multiple lines of coverage. Following a mandatory 3–6 month in-office training period, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule: 1 day per week in office and 4 days from home.
Please note: This is a claims adjuster position responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving insurance claims. It is not an HR, risk management, or employer-side role.
Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line claims in accordance with company standards and state laws.
Establish and recommend reserves within authority levels.
Review, approve, and negotiate medical, legal, and damage estimates as needed.
Authorize claim payments and settlements in line with best practices and client instructions.
Coordinate with outside vendors such as legal counsel, surveillance, and case management.
Attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings as appropriate (local travel required).
Maintain thorough claim documentation and provide status reports as requested.
Ensure compliance with CCMSI best practices, client handling instructions, and applicable regulations.
Contribute to claim reviews, team training, and client service initiatives.
Required:
5+ years of multi-line claim adjusting experience
Active Adjuster’s License (TX license or Home State License strongly preferred)
Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and meet deadlines
Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required)
Experience handling multiple liability lines and litigated claims
Familiarity with medical terminology and property damage assessments
Compliance with CCMSI best practices and client handling standards
Timeliness and accuracy of claim handling
File quality as measured by internal audits
Collaboration with team members and clients

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation or bonuses.
