Workers’ Compensation Claim Supervisor
Location: Reno, NV – Hybrid (after training)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM PT (37.5 hours/week)
Salary Range: $78,000–$90,000 annually

We’re seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claim Supervisor to lead a team of up to six adjusters handling Nevada jurisdiction claims. You’ll supervise daily claim activity, manage compliance and audit standards, and oversee client accounts in industries including municipalities, school districts, mining, farming, casinos, and temporary staffing agencies.
This is a hybrid role with an initial in-office training period of up to 6 months. After training, you’ll typically work 2–3 days per week in the office and the remainder remotely. Occasional local travel may be required for claim reviews.
Please note: This is a supervisory-level role requiring NV workers’ compensation adjusting experience and a valid Nevada adjuster license.
Supervise and assign workers’ compensation claims, ensuring compliance with CCMSI standards, client instructions, and NV law.
Lead and support a team of up to six adjusters, monitoring employee productivity, file quality, and development.
Investigate, evaluate, and directly handle designated litigated or complex NV claims.
Establish reserves and oversee reserve adequacy for assigned claims.
Review and authorize payments, settlements, and medical/legal invoices.
Provide oversight of vendor partnerships (defense attorneys, surveillance, case management, etc.).
Deliver training, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff.
Support client accounts with compliance, reporting, and customer service.
Ensure accurate and timely diary management and claim documentation.
Required:
10+ years of Nevada workers’ compensation claim handling experience
3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
Active Nevada Adjuster License
Strong knowledge of NV jurisdiction, compliance, and workers’ compensation processes
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Nice to Have:
Experience with compliance, audits, and oversight
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Professional designations (AIC, CPCU, or ARM)

The posted wage reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation or bonuses.
