Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Multi-Line Claim Representative II to join our fast-paced, 100% remote team. This role is responsible for investigating and adjusting general liability and products liability claims for multiple national accounts in the hospitality and food products industries. Because this is a fully remote desk handling claims in multiple jurisdictions nationwide, dependability, responsiveness, and strong self-discipline are essential.

 

Please note: This is a claims adjuster position responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving insurance claims. It is not an HR, risk management, or employer-side role.

 

Responsibilities

 

What You’ll Do

  • Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims (general liability and products liability) in accordance with CCMSI guidelines and client requirements.

  • Review and process medical, legal, and related invoices; authorize claim payments.

  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys under client authorization.

  • Select and direct defense counsel when necessary.

  • Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities.

  • Prepare detailed reports, reserves, and compliance documentation.

  • Deliver timely, responsive, and high-quality service to clients, insureds, and internal partners.

 

Qualifications

 

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • 5–10 years of proven multi-line claims adjusting experience (general liability, products liability).

  • Active DHS adjuster license (minimum) or ability to obtain prior to hire.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple national accounts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Reliability and responsiveness in a fully remote team environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Experience handling hospitality or food product liability accounts.

The posted wage reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation or bonuses.
