EDI Compliance Specialist

Location: Metairie, LA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office/week after training)

Salary Range: $40,000-$45,000

The EDI Compliance Specialist position is responsible for assisting in working with individual states and IT Consultant to develop state specific Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) protocols, and the maintenance of all protocols as required.

Responsibilities

  1. Communication with states and development of specification for state EDI reporting.
  2. Coordination with IT and Operations to develop internal EDI processes for each state.
  3. Coordination with IT and Operations to insure processes are validated daily and error notifications are cleared within state required guidelines.
  4. Development of Monthly EDI status report.
  5. Insure proper training of any personnel involved with EDI processes or submissions.
  6. Supervision of any data entry positions/processes for EDI.
  7. Maintenance of all state EDI specification documents and processes to required state guideline.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience                                                           College graduate preferred

Computer Skills                                                                            

Must have excellent computer skills – Database, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Compensation & Compliance

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good-faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. This role may also qualify for bonuses or additional forms of pay.
