Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT (37.5 hours/week)
Salary Range: $18.00–$22.00 per hour

We are seeking a Claim Assistant to join our Overland Park, KS branch. This position is 100% in-office with no remote opportunity. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and client support to our adjusting staff and supervisor, helping ensure smooth daily operations. This position offers growth potential into future claim-handling roles within CCMSI.
• Answer and manage incoming calls on the branch main line
• Process incoming faxes, physical mail, and electronic documents
• Assist with medical bill inquiries, state form submissions, and special projects
• Prepare, organize, and maintain claim documentation
• Provide daily operational support to the adjusting team and branch leadership
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
Required:
• Previous office experience (insurance or medical background a plus)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable attendance and ability to work fully in-office
Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Prior experience in insurance, claims, or customer service
• Internal audits and compliance reviews
• Annual performance evaluations
• Quality, timeliness, and accuracy of support provided to the team

• Competitive pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour
• 37.5-hour work week with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
