We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Carson City branch. In this front-line, in-office position, you’ll provide essential administrative support to our claims team and serve as a welcoming, professional point of contact for internal and external clients.
The Administrative Assistant supports our Carson City office by handling day-to-day administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the branch. This includes answering phones, processing mail and documents, tracking checks received, preparing bill denials, and providing general office assistance. You’ll be an integral part of a small, dedicated team that values teamwork, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
Answer and route phone calls professionally and efficiently.
Process incoming and outgoing mail, correspondence, and other documentation.
Track checks received and assist with document preparation and distribution.
Prepare billing denials and related forms in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
Provide administrative support to account managers and adjusters as needed.
Assist with meeting coordination, scheduling, and supply management.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Reliable, consistent attendance during office hours
Nice to Have:
Prior administrative experience in a professional office setting
Excellent communication and phone etiquette for a front-line role
Ability to prioritize and adapt in an ever-changing environment
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
You’ll receive hands-on training directly from the outgoing Administrative Assistant, who was recently promoted within the company. Ongoing support and mentorship will be provided to ensure your success in the role.
